On 27 June, the European Commission launched a 12-week open stakeholder consultation on the Digital Europe programme, in the context of the mid-term evaluation. The Digital Europe programme aims to bring digital technology to businesses, the public and public administrations. This interim evaluation will examine whether the EU funding programme is working as intended 4 years after the start of implementation. The consultation seeks to gain insights into stakeholders’ experience with the programme, their perspectives on how relevant the objectives of the programme are to the digital transformation of companies and the public sector, how the programme responds to current and future technological trends, the perceived coherence with other EU or national/local funding and what they consider to be its expected impact. Please find the related news item here and the consultation itself here.
